Peace of Mind Organizing

Creating lasting order for lasting peace of mind

Needs Assessment

If you feel overwhelmed just thinking about how to start tackling your clutter, an Eyes of a Stranger™ Needs Assessment is the perfect starting point. The assessment takes about three hours, during which you and Janine tour your home and talk about your organizing challenges and goals. By bringing in an objective set of eyes, Janine can help you figure out how and why the clutter accumulates and how to get rid of it—and keep it away. After the tour, you and Janine will create a prioritized project list, as well as task list to help you get where you want to go.

Some clients need only an assessment—it can provide all the education and direction they require. Others will hire Janine to help implement the plan of action.

Janine trained in this method of needs assessments with Kathy Waddill, of The Untangled Web, in Orinda, California. Janine is a licensed consultant in the Eyes of a Stranger™ method. She’ll leave you with a 24-page booklet, written by Kathy, that addresses common organizing challenges. If time permits, you and Janine may go through the booklet to highlight the issues that are particularly pertinent to you.

Please don’t clean up your house before Janine’s visit. She’ll want to see your house in its natural state—each pile provides a valuable clue about your situation.
