How do you handle your mail?

17 March 2010

Dealing the mail that comes to the house can be a huge hassle for many people. Most of my clients have difficulty dealing with it and I know I’ve let it pile up in the past. I’m thinking of developing some sort of product to help people with their mail and I’m curious how my blog readers handle their mail.

So if you don’t mind please take my poll on how you deal with your mail.

I’ll do a post in a week or two with the results.

Easy breezy! Initially collected (from floor via mail slot) and brout to kitchen island. Magazines go to bedside table, catalogs go immediately to recycling (unless there’s something delishiously tempting that I want to browse over hot chocolate….but then it goes right to recycling!), bills opened and brought. Office where I’ll log them/set up payment over the next week (then they’re filed or shredded). Everyting else…..recycle!! Takes2 mins maximim per day!

That’s beautiful, Jody! I wish it were that easy for everyone.

I think the key is reducing the amount of mail you get in the first place, by canceling catalogs and junk mail, and signing up for online billing.
Good poll!
